The MWC in Barcelona is taking place next week, and just before the whole world (including us!) is holding its breath to explore and present the future of mobile, here are some tips for building a mobile strategy.
For some of us it’s clear; for others not quite… and this is why we have put together the “why, what and how” of creating a mobile site – and more importantly of building a long-lasting mobile strategy.

Find your best solution for mobile. Choose carefully between application, web solution or a combination of the two. In all cases make sure this solution:
- Gives you presence on all leading Smartphones
- Provides your surfers with the best user experience, to make sure they come back
- Covers 100% of your website and is reachable to 100% of your surfers, whether generated from Google, Twitter, Facebook or any other external links.
Don’t just create a mobile site – build a mobile strategy and make sure to integrate it into your broader marketing and sales strategy. Remember that in some sectors, mobile is taking off PC, and if you provide your customers with a second or third best solution – you harm yourself. Make them feel at home – let them know their user experience is important for you – and the ROI will automatically follow.
